Background

A house with a story worth preserving

Gobhai House stands as a rare surviving example of Charles Correa's residential architecture — a thoughtful, climate-responsive design conceived for his longtime friend Mehli Gobhai, one of India's most celebrated abstract artists.

Our aim is to activate this space through a series of art and architecture camps, inviting practitioners, students, and enthusiasts to engage with its history, its spaces, and its spirit.
